Studio Shades, a leading video production company , proudly collaborated with Sony Music India and Sony Music Malaysia on a large-scale international musical video project for the track “Vera Level”. As a full-service video production company, this project showcased our expertise in commercial video production, music video production, and large-scale digital content creation.
Featuring Malaysian independent artist Kidd Santhe, the song “Vera Level” was conceptualised as a high-energy narrative centred around an auto race between the protagonist and a rival gang. The concept demanded a cinematic approach, a unique blend of cinematic storytelling and commercial music video production, pushing creative and technical boundaries by combining action storytelling with high-energy visuals, making it a standout commercial music video production.
For this project, our team handled everything from pre-production planning and location design to filming and final video editing, ensuring a seamless production workflow aligned with global standards. One of the most unique aspects of this project was the creation of custom race autos. Both vehicles were built from scrap materials and extensively modified to resemble racing machines, highlighting our capabilities in production design, prop styling, and creative direction. This level of detail added authenticity and visual appeal to the action sequences.
Also we worked a lot on this music video using Ai, where we generated many elements and characters on the music video. Everytime we came to a conclusion, another model was released and we had to do the process again for a better output. We worked using multiple Ai softwares to generate the,character,elements and other content which helped us to finish the project within the allocated budget
Our expertise in professional video shooting, high-end camera work, drone videography, and action cinematography played a key role in capturing the intensity of the race. The post-production phase included advanced video editing, color grading, VFX integration, and sound design, ensuring a polished and cinematic final output.
